B&B Description Awel y Mor is a Victorian guest house facing the beautiful Dovey estuary. Across the road are miles of golden sand and sheltered dunes, perfect for picnics. The unspoilt village of Aberdovey is within the spectacular Snowdonia National Park with its rugged mountain scenery. The village offers a range of water sports, a championship golf course, putting, croquet and tennis. There are restaurants and pubs to suit every taste and pocket, as well as specialist shops and art galleries. Nearby places to visit are historic sites, such as castles and museums, craft centres and local markets. Only about 10 miles away is the world famous Centre for Alternative Technology, providing a fascinating day out and excellent vegetarian restaurant. A visit to Awel y Mor provides a relaxing stay by the sea. The owners, Brian and Jenny Johnson, pride themselves on the warm welcome they offer to their home. The comfortable rooms are en suite, with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfasts are generous, including vegetarian specialities. A self contained holiday flat is also available to sleep four people. The bedroom and sitting room (with sofa bed) are both en suite and the separate kitchen is brand new and fully eqipped with full size cooker, fridge and microwave. The apartment faces the sea and there is a small private area outside to enjoy the sunshine. If you visit once we guarantee you will return!
