Bed and Breakfast (B&B) - Eye, Suffolk, England UK

B&B Description

Moat Farm is an old Suffolk farmhouse. The rooms are all ensuite, beautifully beamed and furnished, with an inglenook fireplace dining room.

We use local produce when ever possible for our extensive breakfast menu.
Surrounding the area is a network of pleasant footpaths, and for cyclists, the quiet country lanes provide ample opportunities to explore a little further afield. A short drive away is Thornham Country Park, where the natural woodland provides a habitat for abundant wildlife that can be observed first hand whilst taking a leisurely stroll.

Nearby Framlingham, boasting a turreted castle and once the original seat of the Dukes of Norfolk, lies in an area which has become the centre of East Anglia's flourishing wine industry, and a number of local vineyards offer tours and tasting. Sutton Hoo provides an absorbing day out, this Anglo-Saxon burial site of Raedwald (King of East Anglia), where priceless treasure was discovered within a huge ship grave.

Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens provide an enjoyable day out. Within 25 miles lie Bury St Edmunds, Norwich and the Suffolk/Norfolk coast.

Many local pubs and restaurants abound, with the village pub serving food.
