 B&B DescriptionRelaxed and friendly,Steep Meadow is peacefully located in 3 acres. An excellent base for visiting the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley ,Welsh Borders, historic buildings such as Tintern Abbey or Chepstow castle. Activities nearby - canoeing, GoApe, golf, fishing, wildlife, cycling or just relax in the garden and enjoy the views. You can walk straight from our door into the forest - we are close to the Wye Valley Walk, Offa’s Dyke Path and the Wyssis Way. Delicious breakfasts using local produce wherever possible and our own eggs, bacon and sausages, homemade preserves and breads. Evening meals and packed lunches by prior arrangement. The house is a blend of old and new with panoramic views of countryside. Bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms, underfloor heating, tea/coffee making facilities, colour television, toiletries, hairdryers. There is off road parking. We are easy to find just 3 miles from Monmouth off the A4136. Special rates for 4/5 night breaks. 4 stars VB. |
