 B&B DescriptionA category "B" Listed building and built in 1836, "Ivybank" is a charming small Georgian mansion whose wings cluster around a square tower, and is set in its own walled and landscaped garden. Dubbed by the French "Le Petit Chateau", Ivybank Guest House is unique. Somewhere very special for that special someone. Simply enchanting with beamed and panelled hall, cosy open fires, a magnificent mahogany staircase and luxuriously furnished both twin and double en-suite bedrooms and twin and double standard bedrooms. Come and be spoiled here midst fresh flowers and fruit and enjoy the en-suite four poster bedroom or a turret or tower bathroom in the others. One bedroom has a curved door with its bathroom in the turret! Then, relax around one of the cosy open fires in original and unique fireplaces. The tastefully furnished Guest Lounge has a Baby Grand Piano, a T.V. and a Music Centre. All bedrooms have a TV, clock radio, hairdrier, hospitality tray and toiletries. |
