 B&B DescriptionGlenferness, a late Victorian house with a lovely original conservatory was built with comfort in mind. Its high ceilings, large rooms and spacious accommodation provide a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Situated in the medieval village of Robertsbridge, in the heart of the countryside and only 12 miles from the sea, it is an ideal location for visiting historic castles, houses, gardens and places of interest in Sussex and Kent. Robertsbridge is a very convenient base from which to explore many parts of Sussex and Kent. It is only 30 miles south of the M25 and 40 miles from the Channel Tunnel. Robertsbridge railway station is only a hundred yards from the house and trains are available hourly to Battle and Tunbridge Wells on the main line from Hastings to London. Battle Abbey and the site of the historical 1066 Battle of Hastings, is just four miles south of Robertsbridge.
